Saif Ul Malook is an epic written by Mian Mohammad Bukhsh (Sufi & Saint ) of Kharee plains of Mirpur.'Saif ul Malook' takes forward those traditions of Kashmiri Sufism (Reshiat) which gave emphasis to jadojahed or 'struggle' and brought pleasant changes in the society leading to the eras of peace, prosperity and development in the state. The epic created by Mian Muhammad Baksh is the masterpiece of Reshi literature and is woven with the colors of Indian & Persian Sufi influences. Saif Ul Malook, which literally means, 'Sword of the Kings' teaches us the lesson of struggle, not for the lust of glory & personal gains but for the objective far superior then this. Keep on moving forward by submitting to the will of God, by controlling the distracting desires and pleasures (Naffus), to carry on with struggle for the attainments of objectives by utilizing all abilities. No regrets, even if objectives are not achieved as its God's job to reward & who do it at his own will. The Job of the follower of the path of mystism (Rah e Salook) is to do his job i.e., struggle.
